Several playable races differ in their basic characteristics, appearance and skills. Coming to his senses in the middle of a mountain of corpses a place of mass grave of fallen warriors, the hero begins his victorious march through the magical world of the game, immediately after you choose a name for him and set the parameters of his appearance. Our hero is a warrior who desperately fights against invaders, defeats many alone, but falls victim to the numerical superiority of the enemy’s forces. At the very beginning, we are shown a prologue, during which we learn that an evil genius decides to bring all the free kingdoms of the Amalur world to their knees. One way or another, Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning looks quite decent, stylish and neat, and the cartoonishness even adorns it, being a pleasant feature of the game. This style was not to everyone’s liking, and therefore many people voted «audience sympathy» in favor of the eastern competitor. Many critics noted the frankly unfortunate decision of the creators to express the game space in the form of «Warcraft-like», cartoonish and three-dimensional graphics. Unfortunately, comparisons could not be avoided.
